I haven't posted anything in a while and thought I'd play a little catch up. :)
Things are going great! Our year with Community Bible Study (CBS) and MOPS are winding down for the summer, the weather is great so we're enjoying BBQ's with friends, my garden is doing awesome, and we're starting to enjoy the perks of summer (splash pad, park, strawberry picking, etc).
Josh got a new grill, dubbed "Mega Grill", so we had a BBQ after church one Sunday. Pictured here are my friends Jen, Leti, and Lyn.
This part of our CBS group at our final CBS meeting for the year. Really enjoyed getting to know these ladies and the wisdom they provided!
We went strawberry picking at a local farm with some friends. Deacon enjoyed picking the strawberries out but wanted me to actually pick them.
Our church held a baptism on May 4th at the beach. Four members, including Josh, were baptized. The weather was horrible all week and when we needed it to be good weather, God cleared the skies and provided exactly what we needed! It was such a beautiful day and I'm so proud of my hubby!
Enjoying McGuire's after the baptism and kissing the moose of course :)
Our garden is doing awesome! In fact, it's beginning to look like a jungle out there. I had to ghetto-rig my beans and add more height to it because they are growing so tall. I'm going to need a ladder to harvest the beans. HA! The poor cucumbers are stuck in the middle of the tomatoes (which have gotten way bigger than I thought they would) and the beans. They are trying to take over the whole garden. Everything is in full bloom though and we've been able to harvest basil, cilantro, rosemary, strawberries, a bell pepper, lettuce, and green onion so far. And it's all been delicious!
Our first strawberry and bell pepper.

Can't wait for our cucumbers to be ready!
