Virginia

Deacon and I spent most of September with Josh in Virginia and we LOVED having our family back together! We were able to spend the weekends with our family and friends and when we had free time we got out and saw the sights!
We spent a day at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, VA. That is where Josh and I got engaged 6 years ago and it was neat to go back and reminisce. He proposed by having a caricature done of the 2 of us, so of course we had to go back to the exact location and get one done of the 3 of us!

We also went to the Virginia Aquarium and Virginia Beach. A sandcastle contest was held at VA beach the previous weekend and although parts of the castles were ruined, most were still intact. They were really cool to see!
Deacon was fascinated with all the fish and colors!
We also visited historic Jamestown and Yorktown; as well as colonial Williamsburg. It was great to walk around and soak up some US history since our world has been filled with European history for almost 2 years! Enjoying a nice afternoon at the James River
