Castle of Beloeil

Josh and I got out of the house last weekend and visited the Castle (or Chateau) of Beloeil. It's located about 25 minutes from our house, so it's just down the road! It's amazing how places like this one are everywhere and a lot of them are within 30-45 minutes of our house. We are truly blessed to live here and be able to see and experience everything! The castle was beautiful, the afternoon cleared up and was sunny, and there were hardly any people there so it was very peaceful.
Beloeil (literally "beautiful eye") is one of the largest and most beautiful castles in Belgium. It was founded in the 13th century as a mediveal fortress, then was progressively transformed into a residental palace in the 17th and 18th century.
