Move Update

We're coming down to the wire now! Almost time to start the next chapter in our lives! We're excited and nervous. As each day passes I think we get more and more nervous and anxious. Lots to do and not a lot of time to do it in!

Josh's last day of work is this Friday. He had his last flight with this unit on Tuesday...bitter sweet. He had a good time and said it was a "good, last flight." Got to do some cool sling loads, hang out of the helicopter (UGH!), and it was sunny and clear. Next week he'll be working on clearing post, which will keep him extremely busy all week!

My last day of work is next Wednesday (Jan. 28th). I was suppose to work another 2 weeks but we've decided to go home to Florida before moving and we need to get the house situated before the move, so I'm taking some extra time off. It's been great working at Canyon Road. They are very understanding and everyone is sweet, caring, and kind. I couldn't have asked for better employers and coworkers. I'll definitely miss everyone!

Next Thursday the movers are coming to pack up the house and by Friday afternoon our home will be empty :( We're leaving for Florida on Saturday Jan 31st and are excited to go home and visit family before moving. Once we come back we'll have 3 days to get everything in order and then we're off to Belgium.

Lots of changes and emotions in the next 2 weeks. We're hoping everything goes as smoothly as possible. Please keep us in your prayers. Also, please keep Josh's mom, Debbie, in your prayers. She is going through a very difficult time right now and needs your prayers and good thoughts going her way.

Hope everyone is doing well and we'll continue to keep you posted. Love ya!
